We are currently a seeking an **Information Technology (IT) Business Partner** to join our team, working with key business and technical leaders across our Defence and Space programs. If you are looking to develop your career and you have deep experience, a strong customer service mindset and a proactive work style, then this is the role for you.
As an IT Business Partner delivering successful outcomes for Boeing Defence Australia (BDA), you will be responsible for business engagement, scoping emerging requirements, solution analysis, and cross functional coordination. This key position operates as a primary representative across all of the IT services to BDA, and incorporates significant internal stakeholder management.
**The position includes the following responsibilities:**
+ Consults with key business and project leaders, as well as subject matter experts to identify, define and analyse complex business and project requirements;
+ Transforms business and technical needs into well-defined business & functional requirements that can be successfully executed;
+ Coordinates and supports solution design activities including integration, estimation and design review workshops.Ensures solutions will meet business, performance and usability expectations;
+ Leverages wider industry knowledge and the global Boeing IT organisation to support emerging business and technical requirements;
+ Operates as a senior IT professional to lead stakeholder management, customer engagement, and coordination of complex work statements;
+ Empowered to take ownership of emerging business and technical challenges and opportunities and to successfully manage the customer relationships to resolve key issues and deliver positive outcomes;
+ Support and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of IT service delivery, strategy, processes and solutions across the local, regional and international operations;
+ Support and coach team members on business partner and business analysis practices.
**To be successful in this role you will need:**
+ Bachelors degree and typically 7 or more years related work experience;
+ Proven and highly effective consulting skills with strong interpersonal and written communication abilities;
+ A proactive approach with a customer first mindset;
+ Demonstrated and practical understanding of Project Management Methodologies;
+ An understanding of business and/or engineering systems used across a large and complex business environment;
+ Demonstrated experience and understanding across both infrastructure and systems projects;
+ Demonstrated experience in planning and defining projects and supporting proposal or campaign activities;
+ Demonstrated facilitation, workshopping, negotiating, and influencing skill;s
+ ITIL certification;
+ Experience with Business (continuous) Improvement methodologies – (eg Lean+, Six Sigma etc);
+ Experience with Business Process mapping tools and methods;
+ All applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Clearance;
+ Travel to Boeing Australia and Defence sites for engagement and analysis work will be required from time to time.
+ Experience of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Manufacturing, or ERP solutions;
+ Knowledge of processes relating to the Defence and/or Aerospace industries;
+ Knowledge of information and cyber security;
+ Certification in or knowledge of ITIL processes;
+ Current Baseline or NV1 security clearance.
