**Join our Product Sales Team**
This dynamic team is responsible for the success of the GTM strategy in accelerating growth, providing subject matter expertise, building pipeline and repeatable sales models, ensuring market awareness and a focus on the Corporate CIO and IT buyers. Our goal is to assist our customers and protect all of their network assets from down time due to DDoS attacks.
**Own your own sales pipeline**
This is sales overlay position for the Prolexic product is focused on providing product subject matter expertises. You will build sales toward monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue and bookings goals. You are also required to collaborate with a cross-functional team. They include your regional specialist Pre-sales manager, Professional Services, Marketing, and the APJ field sales leadership.
As a Senior Security Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for:
+ Balancing between being visible in the office and in the field visiting customers with the sales teams
+ Being recognized as Prolexic sales subject matter expert with the APJ region
+ Providing guidance to your regional sales team and working with them on territory planning and account penetration
+ Shaping team to achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and target (New Logo’s and Renewals) list of customers and/or prospects
+ Working cross-functionally with teams in Professional Services, Pre-sales, and Marketing to ensure the field has proper support
+ Contributing to overall business strategy and planning, engage with leaders across the company
**Do what you love**
To be successful in this role you will:
+ Have 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
+ Have formal sales training: Solution-Selling and/or Value Selling training
+ Possess sales experience with Network Security, Network Firewalls, IDS/IPS, BGP Routing, DNS and DDoS solutions
+ Demonstrate deep knowledge of the Internet and a thorough understanding of its inner workings is beneficial
+ Have provided real time sales coaching and guidance to fields sales in a fast-paced environment
+ Possess extreme sense of urgency, leadership, optimism, high self-esteem, professionalism, salesmanship and integrity
