Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the _Electrical Supervisor_ will be a key member of our Maintenance team based on Curtis Island, Gladstone at the APLNG facility. The role will lead a team of experienced technicians, providing functional maintenance and techncial support to maintain the day to day maintenance of the facility aligned to our Operations and Maintenance philosophies.
+ HSE performance
+ Continued optimisation of electrical maintenance activities to ensure they are safe, efficient, meet regulatory compliance and adhere to the maintenance strategy.
+ Maintaining plant uptime and reliability to deliver production against budget
+ Personnel management, development and mentoring
+ Responsible for coordinating the day-to-day Electrical maintenance functions associated with the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the Australia Pacific LNG Plant.
+ Lead Rate Reduction and Shutdown activities.
+ Ensure data / information for Maintenance and Reliability (M&R) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are captured efficiently and participate in periodic reviews and continuous improvements of M&R management system.
+ Liaise closely with the Operations Superintendents and Maintenance Superintendent to ensure that all maintenance activities are performed consistent with operational requirements.
+ Coach and develop Operator Technicians – Maintenance
+ Provide support to the Maintenance Superintendent undertaking several routine production activities including: Incident Investigations, defect elimination investigations and reporting and Permit to Work (PTW) coordination
+ Responsible for daily operations performance and Electrical maintenance discipline and executions.
+ Demonstrate a strong commitment to SAP data entry compliance excellence for ongoing maintenance and cost optimizations.
+ Provide collaborative engagement for all Permit to Work scheduled meetings.
+ Demonstrate core “SPIRIT Values “.
+ Provide input to the development and performance monitoring of the technical training program of Operations Technicians - Maintenance
+ Ensure teamwork and the business unit values and culture are promoted and supported
+ Establish a close working relationship with specialist and discipline engineers to facilitate effective troubleshooting techniques, assessment of critical plant issues, and possible solutions.
+ Acting in Delegation of Authority for the Maintenance Superintendent as required.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
+ Trade Qualification (Electrical / Instrument discipline)
+ 10 years of experience in an Electrical/Instrument Supervisory role
+ Intermediate SAP capability
+ Competent in use of Flow Diagrams, Piping & Instrumentation Diagram(P&ID), Schematics, Sketches, Charts, etc.
+ Accepts and Leads HSE ownership & accountability
+ Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
+ Demonstrated personnel and contractor management
+ Oil & Gas or Heavy Industry experience
+ Training & Competency system (mentoring, coaching, development)
+ Management of Change
+ Demonstrated planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
+ Strong communication - both written & oral presentation skills
