About the role
Reporting to the Director Supply Strategy and Innovation, this role will drive TWE’s global supply strategy agenda (incl. Network, Product & Sourcing strategy) with the ultimate objective of optimising our asset base, maximising EBITS & ROCE and ensuring long-term supply security. In addition to setting our supply chain strategy, this role will also directly lead high priority strategic initiatives focussed on improving the performance of TWE’s global supply chain. Core accountabilities include:
+ Lead & evolve TWE’s approach to Product Strategy, balancing the needs & priorities of operating BUs with the requirements & constraints of our global supply chain
+ Work collaboratively with key supply chain leaders and business unit stakeholders to identify opportunities to further optimise our network of supply chain assets to balance our objectives of cost/capital reduction, profit growth, sustainability and supply security
+ Provide analytical & decision making support to other members of the Supply Strategy function (e.g. Wine & Grape Planning) and the broader Global Supply Leadership Team. You will bring analytical rigour, clear frameworks & problem-solving approaches and a highly collaborative approach to these engagements
+ Proactively identify & clearly communicate strategic opportunities / risks across the global supply chain – and develop innovative approaches to exploit / mitigate these
+ Work closely with Supply Finance and other functions to improve the quality of data collection and reporting – with the ultimate aim of supporting improved decision making across the business
+ Support the annual Group Strategic Planning process – including the development & articulation of Supply’s 5-year Strategy
+ Lead or support other high priority strategic initiatives / projects across the supply chain – bringing a data driven, objective and long-term perspective to these engagements
With a Bachelor of Degree or higher (preferably in analytical / quantitative discipline) and >5 years work experience within an FMCG/CPG supply chain or relevant professional services (e.g. Strategy or Supply Chain Consulting) environment.

+ Proven strategic thinking & problem solving capabilities
