**What we’re doing**
You’ll be part of our Global Risk and Assurance team helping us lift the level of risk maturity across the business. You’ll be the business partner supporting our Legal, P&C, Finance and Procurement teams, helping to drive a culture that is risk aware and appropriately responsive. You’ll make risk sound interesting and exiting to all of internal teams!!
**What the role is all about:**
The Senior Risk & Assurance Business Partner is key to the Risk & Assurance team in managing the following:
+ Drive the implementation of the REA Risk Management Framework, which includes the development and maintenance of Operational Risk Profiles and Compliance Obligations.
+ Develop an annual Assurance Plan that includes control testing.
+ Develop the annual Risk Appetite Statement and limits for approval by the REA Board.
+ Facilitate risk workshops across the business.
+ Identify, assess, and provide guidance and reports on emerging risks facing REA.
+ Incident management – ensure the REA Major Incident Management Framework is adhered to and be accountable for ensuring the review of all major incidents to determine where controls require strengthening.
+ Ensure Business Continuity Plans are developed and maintained in line with BCM Policy that includes regular and ongoing testing.
+ Co-ordinate/assist/facilitate reviews performed by internal or external parties, including regulators where appropriate.
+ Ensure the resolution of Audit Issues.
**What we’re looking for:**
+ Strong business/commercial acumen
+ At least 8 years’ experience in Audit and/or Risk Management in a listed company or large consultancy/professional services firm with demonstrated experience in developing and executing audit plans.
+ Extensive people leadership experience.
+ Thorough understanding of the regulatory environment in which REA operates along with good risk and corporate governance practices.
+ Excellent track record in providing risk management services as a trusted advisor or business partner.
+ Strong experience in driving an effective risk management culture through influencing, advising and mentoring across the business across Legal, P&C, Finance and Procurement teams ideally.
+ Excellent business writing skills, including for Executive and Board reports.
+ Excellent communication, engagement and presentation skills – able to deliver engaging and persuasive messages at all levels whether internal or external stakeholders including Board members, partners and regulators.
+ Strong ability to multi-task and prioritise delivery of key projects and initiatives in terms of own workload as well as for the team.
+ Works collaboratively with cross functional teams.
