Salary Package: From $131,329 to $154,547 per annum (HEW Level 10, Band 1), plus employer"s superannuation contribution and annual leave loading
Appointment Types: Full-time, fixed term until December 2021
Location: Macquarie University, North Ryde
Macquarie University launched a five-year Operating Plan in 2020 defining a number of key strategic objectives each of which will represent a program of work. These programs will be delivered through prioritised projects and workstreams supported by an Operating Plan Project Management Office (OP-PMO).
As part of this, a Senior Change Manager is now required to lead change management for the University Operating Plan including delivering change plans, organisational impact/readiness assessments and training strategies for individual programs. A particularly exciting part of the role is the opportunity to co-ordinate the overall effort across all six programs, providing the big picture view of change across the Operating Plan projects and programs.
With full responsibility for change management and in collaboration with the internal communications teams, you will lead the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement strategy driving improvements based on best practice and feedback, as well as support the Program Managers to integrate change management activities into their Program. Working closely with existing communications teams and individual Change Managers, you will establish and lead a Change Management community of practice establishing standards and practical tools to help establish a broader understanding and practice around change management.

As a leader in change management you will already possess an in-depth understanding of change management practices and frameworks and possess expert knowledge of change management principles.
It is crucial you are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities and delivering to tight deadlines and your style will be an blend of implementing organisational-wide change activities with an expert ability to influence and coach people including senior stakeholders through all stages of change.
You will of course have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills enabling to you successfully engage with clients and stakeholders, including at the executive and senior management levels.
You will have worked on large, complex changes and will have demonstrable experience pulling together aggregated understanding of change across an organisation.

Relevant degree and/or extensive experience in leading and delivering complex and strategic organisational change programs.
Experience in leading organisation wide strategic change management activities in complex organisational change projects; ideally in transformations relating to the development and implementation of new service delivery models.
Experience in developing and facilitating change related training and workshops.
Track record coaching and supporting senior sponsors in their leadership of change.
Intermediate to advanced PowerPoint skills.
Prosci or similar accreditation (preferred).
