Salary Package: From $131,329 to $154,547 per annum (HEW Level 10, Band 1), plus employer"s superannuation contribution and annual leave loading

Location: Macquarie University, North Ryde
Macquarie University launched a five-year Operating Plan in 2020 defining a number of key strategic objectives each of which will represent a program of work. These programs will be delivered through prioritised projects and workstreams supported by an Operating Plan Project Management Office (OP-PMO).
As part of this, there is now a requirement for an Associate Director, PMO to ensure that all projects and programs across the Operating Plan realise strategic outcomes and that their progress is transparent, consistent and of high quality and value to the University
In this newly established position, you will support the Director, PMO and the Vice President, Strategy, Planning and Performance (VPSPP) in the development of process and practice improvements across the Operating Plan PMO as well as leading the execution of the PMO governance framework.

The ideal candidate will have a track record in PMO management and best practices including financial management and quality management of projects and programs within large and complex organisations.
Your ability to understand, integrate and assess information relating to strategic, operational, financial and technological issues and opportunities will be matched with excellent interpersonal, stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
You will need in-depth knowledge in contemporary Project and Change Management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, PMBOK, ADKAR or PROSCI and previous experience operating within the Higher Education sector is highly regarded.

Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or other relevant discipline.
Substantial experience as a PMO Manager
Extensive experience in project management developed within large and complex organisations.
Led a portfolio of projects of at least $3 million capex
PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP or RegPM (CPPM or higher) certifications.
AGILE certifications (Scrum Alliance, AgilePM, BCS Agile etc.) highly regarded.
