About the Area
Tasmania has become a "safe haven" for those looking to escape the big city, but still have access to city amenities when needed. The Northwest of the state offers access to affordable beach housing and a close connection of transport to the "mainland" of Australia.
About the Clinic and Role
Located in the North of Tasmania you will have the ability to collaborate across multiple clinics
Monitor and lead the ongoing delivery and improvement of high standard, evidence-based care to clients, including appropriate clinical services for young people experiencing mental ill health
Provide clinical leadership, secondary consultation and expertise to clinicians, private practitioners and co-located services (as required) in the delivery of specialist mental health care to young people and their families
Assist in the development and review of clinical governance policies and processes
Demonstrate competency in the performance of high quality clinical and technical skills through involvement in direct service delivery
Contribute to the vision, strategic planning, and relevant policy development
Ensure the collection of all relevant data in order to measure deliverables and continuously improve and evaluate the delivery of services
Ensure clinical staff are appropriately oriented and provided with adequate supervision, training and professional development. This may also involve the clinical supervision of tertiary students where applicable and in compliance with AHPRA requirements
Ensure clinical review meetings occur regularly and that clinical documentation is completed appropriately
Manage clinical resources and rosters in a flexible and efficient manner to effectively manage client loads and to ensure timely and responsive service delivery
Liaise and work closely with staff and external providers, to ensure the effective functioning of programs

About You
3+ years" experience as a Clinician and an in-depth understanding of the Mental Health space
Current working rights in Australia
Current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) or eligibility for full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
Approved tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline, including Social Work, Psychology (clinical, counselling, 4+2 or 5+1 pathway), Mental Health Nursing or Occupational Therapy.
