Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dynamic Paediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
Do you have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with at least 3 years experience working in a relevant area with post-registration qualifications deemed appropriate by the organisation?
Have you demonstrated the ability to prioritise and problem solve to manage the complex clinical care needs of patients through the development and use of clinical management plans?
The purpose of the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) position is to provide senior nursing clinical leadership in the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery within a nursing unit, team or service.
The CNS employs advanced clinical skills and exercises extended autonomy of decision making working closely with managers and other senior clinicians.
This role is senior position with leadership responsibilities based predominantly in Paediatric ED and the suitable applicant will be required to be proficient in all the work areas of the Emergency Department.
