The North West Cancer Centre is part of Tamworth Hospital and provides oncology services to patients from the North West and New England regions of NSW. This includes medical oncology (chemotherapy), haematology and radiation oncology. The service is committed to creating a harmonious workplace culture that supports and empowers staff. Tamworth is the heart of the New England North West of NSW, with a population of over 55,000 people. Tamworth is a large rural centre with a diverse range of industry, sports, arts and culture. It possesses an airport with flights to Sydney and Brisbane each day, and a daily train service to and from Sydney. There is a wide selection of public and private schools. Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital is a major referral hospital located in the northern region of the HNELHD. It has approximately 270 beds, in the new state of the art hospital complex.
You are a motivated, competent candidate with a keen interest in supporting research that benefits cancer patients, their families and carers. You have experience in supporting teams and projects through use of effective and efficient organisational strategies, participation in team work, and use of respectful communication skills.
To be eligible for employment in these roles you must be: an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia.
If you currently hold a temporary visa that allows you to live and work in Australia you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
An eligibility list will be created for future temporary part time vacancies.
