About the Role
The NBMLHD Supportive and Palliative Care Specialist Service is committed to ensuring that people with life limiting illness and their families and carers have access to a high quality care that is responsive, flexible and co-ordinated.
This project will be led by a suitable Project Manager who will use appropriate project management methodology to assist in improving the co-ordination of the Supportive and Palliative Care Service across the local health district.
The Project Manager will engage with key stakeholders to develop guidelines and policies required to implement initiatives and achieve project targets within budgets, deadlines and quality parameters.

Selection Criteria to be addressed:Tertiary qualification in a health related discipline or significant experience in project management preferably in a health environmentWorking knowledge and /or experience using Accelerating Implementation Methodology (AIM) and/or clinical redesign methodology within the health care settingDemonstrated experience in managing organisational change and project management, and the implementation of projects, frameworks and/or initiativesHigh level communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to engage/collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver quality outcomesCompetent with word processing, spreadsheet and project scheduling computer applications with a demonstrated capacity to establish and manage documentation and associated processes related to project administration including use of Microsoft applications, HPRM and other enterprise applications eg: Oracle, EMRExcellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, work well under pressure and manage communications and information using initiative and adaptabilityAbility to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team within a complex organisation influencing others to move towards a common vision or goalCurrent drivers licence and willingness to travel to other locations as required Need more information?   1) Click here for the Position Description   2) Find out more about applying for this position For role related queries or questions contact Linda Ora via Linda.Ora@health.nsw.gov.au
