Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
Do you have current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)?
Do you have demonstrated understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking?
The Ear Nose and Throat Registered Nurse will assist in the preparation and execution of the ENT and Head and Neck clinic within the Neurosciences Ambulatory Care Unit, to provide nursing care to patients referred to the clinic for assessment and management of various conditions.
The Reigstered Nurse is responsible for overseeing the flow and safe management of patients attending the ENT and Head and Neck clinic and work independently while under the supervision and direction from the Nursing Unit Manager.
To be considered for this role you must have…
Be able to work autonomously with a variable work load
Must have recent Registered Nurse experience in an acute hospital setting
Experience with tracheostomies desireable
Ability to work clinic hours Monday (0900-1500), Wednesday and Thursday (1000-1830)
