Salary Package: From $165,264 per annum (HEW 10, Band 2), plus 13.25% employer"s superannuation contribution and annual leave loading
Appointment Types: Full-time, fixed term until December 2021
Location: Macquarie University, North Ryde
The Professional Services Transformation (PST) program is an initiative under the University 2020-2024 Operating Plan (Ways of Working) and is overseen by the University’s Executive Group. The program is aimed at transforming the delivery of professional support services to create more consistent and standard processes across key professional services and a more efficient professional staff support structure, allowing a better staff and student experience and reinvestment in the academic mission of the University.
The Program Manager will lead and manage the Student and Academic Services Stream of our Professional Services Transformation program of work, including the design and implementation of new service delivery models as approved by the Program Board.
You are highly experienced in program and project management with a strong track record in planning and delivering large scale business transformations for complex organisations, including leading change for student services within the higher education sector. You will have the expertise to provide high-level strategic advice to the business on change feasibility and suitability to optimise business performance, as well monitor and control program progress from concept to post implementation.
You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated success in engaging, collaborating and influencing key stakeholders and customers at all levels, including executives and senior management.
You will have the ability to lead and coach a team to work autonomously on a wide range of technology, process or cultural change projects and programs, and drive staff engagement and team culture.

Relevant degree and/or extensive experience in program and project management.
Extensive experience in planning and delivering large scale business transformation programs within a complex environment.
Working and leading change in the higher education environment.
Managing complex business issues and competing priorities with demanding deadlines.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills with the ability to engage, collaborate and influence key stakeholders and customers at senior management and executive levels.
