Salary Package: From the pro-rata equivalent of $122,653 to $129,541 (HEW Level 9), plus 17% employer’s superannuation contribution and annual leave loading
Appointment Type: 2 x Part time, Continuing positions (Part time fraction is based on the relevant area of practice): 1 x 0.3 FTE in Clinical Psychology and 1 x 0.4 FTE in Clinical Neuropsychology

An exciting ongoing opportunity exists for two experienced Psychology Placement Supervisors, one with an area of practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology and one with endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology to provide supervision, to students whilst on placement in the Macquarie University Psychology Clinic..
You will be a passionate and professional individual with a desire to grow the next generation of Psychologists. You will be an accredited supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia and have experience in supervision within a training clinic. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to be flexible to the needs of the individual student. You will be comfortable managing risk issues with clients and working as part of the Clinic Team.

The Department of Psychology at Macquarie University offers accredited undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Psychology to satisfy the requirements for registration as a psychologist. It is a research-intensive department that is home to the Centre for Emotional Health, and the Centre for Elite Performance, Expertise, and Training, and other highly productive research groups and laboratories, with a state-of-the-art simulation precinct. The Macquarie University Psychology Clinic, the Centre for Emotional Health Clinic, and e-Centre Clinic offer specialised psychological services to the general community.
The Macquarie University Psychology Clinic is a training clinic and offers specialised psychological services to the general community. The clinic is staffed by Provisional/Psychologists who have completed their undergraduate training in psychology and are undertaking post-graduate training in specialised areas to become Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Neuropsychologists.

Degree or postgraduate qualifications and professional experience recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia with an approved relevant Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology
Accredited as a Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia
Experience supervising psychology students on first placements and leading/guiding case management.
Demonstrated experience with a broad range of psychometric assessment or Clinical Nueropsychology assessment
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a team

Employment in this position is conditional upon:
Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and endorsement in an approved area of practice for a minimum of two years
Accredited Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia
