An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and enthusiastic HDR Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Deputy Director (Partnerships and Scholarships), the successful incumbent will coordinate the promotion, assessment, award and management of HDR Scholarships from internal and external scholarship providers.
The HDR Coordinator will manage the workflow and processes for HDR Scholarships including domestic and international candidates along with scholarships offerings to Macquarie-based candidates.
We are seeking a dynamic individual who has the enthusiasm and passion to manage the HDR Scholarships process. This position will require a problem solver with strong organisational skills who can work both independently and as part of a team.
Ideally the successful applicant will have experience working in a complex administration or research management environment and have an ability to develop and foster relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
The Office of Higher Degree Research Training and Partnerships (OHDRTP) is responsible for HDR candidates from application to completion. OHDRTP assesses all applications for HDR programs, enrols all HDR candidates, supports HDR candidates through academic mentors, adminsters scholarships for HDR candidates, adjusts programs of study for all candidates and administers timely completion of all HDR candidates.

Degree in relevant field and/or equivalent experience in complex administrative environments.
Understanding of Australian Higher Education environment specifically relating to Higher Degree Research
Highly developed computer skills including Microsoft Office, database, email, web-based software applications, web management.
Working in complex administration, preferably in an HDR or research management environment
Extensive experience in managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Experience with gathering, analysing and reporting on information and working with complex databases
Experience building and managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
