Location: Macquarie University, North Ryde
If you are an experienced project support professional looking for a challenging role working on a strategic program then this opportunity is for you. This critical role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective running of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) by providing analytical, planning and governance expertise, methodology upkeep and project management support. You will work in close collaboration with the Key Areas of Focus and Project Teams to deliver accurate, timely and transparent reports relating to status, resourcing, and financials to inform senior leadership and business stakeholders.
You have extensive experience in delivering the activities of the PMO with tracking, analysing, and reporting on performance, ensuring projects are within budget, and appropriate resources are allocated for successful project delivery.
You will have knowledge of project management tools and techniques, proficient with MS Office Suite and reporting tools, and have PRINCE2 Foundation, CAPM or RegPM (CPPP) certifications.
You will be dynamic, enthusiastic, and ready to hit the ground running in a busy and collaborative team enabling the University to deliver on the Operating plan.
The Vice-President Strategy, Planning and Performance (VPSPP) holds executive responsibility for the development and execution of university strategy, cross-institutional planning, and oversight of whole of University Group performance.
The VPSPP supports the Vice-Chancellor, Executive Group and University Council in ensuring the long-term sustainability and strategic direction of the University and its group subsidiaries.

Tertiary qualification or diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems or a combination of relevant experience and training.
Extensive experience as a PMO Analyst in a complex PMO environment with more than $20 million portfolio capex.
Experience in contemporary Project Management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, PMBOK.
Proficient with Microsoft Project Online, Project Server, MS SharePoint, MS Project Professional or MS Visio.
Data analysis and report preparation using Microsoft reporting tools.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with experience in monitoring and analysing project financials and budgets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
