Apple iPhone.
SYDNEY NSW 15th January 2009 - DreamJob.com.au today announced an
Australian First for their popular Job Search website to automatically recognise and
redirect Job Searchers to the Apple iPhone compatible version of the website.
"We are very excited to be able to be first to market with an iPhone compatible
search product." said DreamJob.com.au Product Manager Andrew Davis. "Searching
on a mobile device can be tedious, involving a great deal of zooming and panning
around a traditional website that is not designed for mobile use, not to mention
the large download sizes of non mobile designed sites. What we have done is to
create an iPhone specific version of DreamJob.com.au that is easy to use and view
on the device and is very trim to reduce downloaded data charges." Davis
explained.
Starting today, the 15th of January 2009, any user that browses the
DreamJob.com.au website from an Apple iPhone or iPod Touch will be automatically
taken to the mobile version of the search and be presented with a cut down,
iPhone enhanced experience. "Users can search all Australian Jobs listed on
DreamJob.com.au just as they can on the main website, and we will be adding
more features specifically tailored to iPhone users in the coming weeks." said Mr Davis.
