The Avionics Technician will be responsible for;
Performing maintenance as directed to ensure Serviceable Asset levels are maintained
Provide recommendations for process improvement
Provide assistance as required to the MM
Ensure no maintenance is performed unless authorised to perform the task by from the Senior Maintenance Manager
Ensure only serviceable and calibrated tools and specialist equipment are used to perform maintenance
Ensure all maintenance is performed using approved and current technical publications, instructions, data and systems
Ensure safe work practices are followed and observe relevant Occupational Health and Safety regulations and procedures
Maintain FOD control systems
Perform the duties of a Maintenance Quality Supervisor/ Inspector for tasks as authorised by the SMM and IAW AAP 7001.053, the Maintenance Management Plan and Work Instructions
Essential Qualifications;
• 2 years experience as a deeper maintenance Avionics Technician
• Able to work autonomously and as a member of a team
• Qualified to work on State Aircraft Equipment IAW RAAF Engineering Specification 9022
