The Psychology Department at Macquarie University is a research intensive department that is home to the Centre for Emotional Health, the Centre for Elite Performance, Expertise, and Training, and other highly productive research groups and laboratories, with a state-of-the- art simulation precinct. The Macquarie University Psychology Clinic offers specialised psychological services to the general community. The Clinic is staffed by Provisional/ Registered Psychologists who have completed their undergraduate training in psychology and are undertaking postgraduate training in specialised areas to become Clinical Psychologists, Clinical Neuropsychologists and Organisational Psychologists. There are close affiliations with the Department of Cognitive Science, the ARC Centre of Excellence in Cognition and its Disorders, the Macquarie University Hospital.
The Psychology Department has outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate accredited programs and a large number of excellent higher degree research candidates.
The successful applicant will be expected to coordinate clinical neuropsychological field placements and provide supervision for students enrolled in the postgraduate Master of Clinical Neuropsychology program.
Candidates must be endorsed as a Clinical Neuropsychologist for at least 2 years, and accredited as a supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia, and should be eligible for membership of the Australian Psychological Society"s College of Clinical Neuropsychologists

Demonstrated experience in clinical neuropsychological practice with both children and adults
Endorsement as a Clinical Neuropsychologist and accreditation as a supervisor at the higher degree program pathway level
Demonstrated ability to foster and maintain excellent working relationships with members of the clinical neuropsychology profession
Demonstrated ability to work in a team
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated capacity to develop and maintain policy and procedures
Employment in this position is conditional upon holding a Working with Children Check Clearance.
Salary Package: From $112,204 to $118,506 pa (HEW Level 9), plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading (pro-rata)
