As a CTP Claims Advisor...
In this diverse role, you will join a high performing team based in our Personal Injury centre in the North Sydney CBD. Using the business acumen and specialist knowledge gained through your tertiary studies, you will be groomed to manage a portfolio of CTP claims from lodgement through to settlement. The nature of this role will see you involved in all facets of claims management including investigating and determining liability, facilitating the rehabilitation of injured claimants through treatment and rehab providers as well as managing claims as they progress through various stages of litigation. You will develop a broad skill set in a role where you will continuously be learning with the added benefit of assistance from a team support officer to help with administrative tasks.
Your responsibilities will include:
Setting an action plan for all claims,
Developing negotiation strategy on all files appropriate for resolution,
Attend informal settlement conferences, court hearings, etc,
Conduct timely investigations in regard to liability and medical issues,
Develop and maintain strong relations with third party service providers,
Delegate tasks as appropriate to the Claims Support Officer.
What it takes...

Some of the attributes that will drive your success in CTP include strong communication skills, confidence, an inquisitive mind, high levels of organisation & time management as well as good commercial acumen. CTP experience is not essential as we have a highly structured development and mentoring program which will give you the additional knowledge and skills required to perform to a high standard. Tertiary qualifications are preferred with an allied health, business or legal stream being most beneficial. Impress with your previous experience in a customer focused environment.
