ROLE
In this challenging and interesting role, you will join a high performing team responsible for the management of a portfolio of CTP claims. Using the knowledge you have gained through your previous experience in CTP, you will proactively manage claims from lodgement through to settlement. The nature of this role will see you involved in both treatment and rehabilitation of the injured claimant as well as managing claims through the litigation process. You will develop a broad skill set in a role where you will continuously be learning. You will also have the added benefit of assistance from a team support officer to help with administrative tasks.
Your responsibilities will include:
Setting an action plan for all claims
Developing negotiation strategy on all files appropriate for resolution
Attend informal settlement conferences, court hearings, etc
Conduct timely investigations in regard to liability and medical issues
Develop and maintain strong relations with third party service providers
Delegate tasks as appropriate to the claims support officer.
REQUIREMENTS
We are particularly interested in high calibre CTP claims people with a passion for the industry and who are wanting to develop their career further in the industry. This role would suit a confident individual with good communication skills, time management skills and commercial acumen.
