An exciting opportunity is currently available for an Investment Operations Performance & Compliance Analyst. In this challenging new role you will support the Zurich Investment Operations team in ensuring the delivery of an effective Risk Management & Compliance framework within the Life & Investments business unit and provide Performance Analysis to internal and external parties.
ROLE:
Some responsibilities include:
Calculate and verify performance reporting for all Zurich portfolios and products using Milestone"s pQuant and internal reporting tools.
Dissemination of performance reporting data for all Zurich portfolios and products to internal and external clients.
Practice Compliance in accordance with principles espoused in Australian Standard AS 3806 (Compliance) and AS 4360 (Risk Mgt).
Effective use of systems, tools and techniques associated with the effective oversight of Compliance and Risk obligations relevant to the operations of the ZIO team.
Lead operational Risk Mgt facilitation activities within the ZIO team.
Assist the Zurich Investment Operations Manager Reporting & Compliance with maintaining knowledge, awareness and active participation with the promotion of sound operational risk management practices within the ZIO team.
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Strong technical knowledge in the field of Performance, Compliance or Risk Management in the Financial Services Industry or related field
Experience on the use of Milestone"s pQuant or other Performance Calculations Systems would be an advantage
Superior communication, negotiation and analytical skills
Sound understanding of Compliance and/or Risk Management disciplines
A keen interest in Performance and Compliance related issues
A relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or equivalent is a requirement of the role.
