As an Account Manager, the purpose of this role is to develop and win new business for Optus in the Victorian market and  you will be responsible to sell into a territory of larger businesses.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to

Achieve Orders, Revenue and Specific Product Sales Targets
Build and maintain Customer Satisfaction through the development of broad customer relationships, including senior management contact
Develop Territory Plans, Account Plans and Opportunity Plans as required
Produce accurate and complete documentation -  maintain accurate and complete CRM System Records and provide timely and accurate reports as required
Build and manage effective relationships with the Optus groups that support the sales, implementation, and on-going customer support activities.
We are looking for a highly motived, energetic and enthusiastic individual with a can-do attitude to help drive the success of the Sales team. You will be charged with the challenge of account growth, business case development, new strategic account acquisition and penetration as well as development of customer business improvement initiatives linked to benefits realisation.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
To meet this challenge and be effective in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

Extensive experience in a relationship/ strategic selling preferably in ICT solutions.
Degree level business qualification is desirable but not essential.
Experience in managing key technical relationships and selling strategic business solutions that included ROI analysis
Highly seasoned sales professional with extensive market and product knowledge
Experience in developing and executing strategic sales plans
Ability to identify and navigate complex organizational and political customer structures
Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as corporate presentation and effective listening skills
Proven history of working in a pro-active and entrepreneurial manner.
