The role of Senior Commercial Analyst is primarily responsible for providing commercial support for the Wholesale Fixed product portfolio that includes pricing, new product developments and strategic projects. Commercial support also includes the development and maintenance of pricing and financial models, the development of business cases (including Capex sign off) as well as the preparation of management and customer performance reports, Bid coordination and other ad-hoc analysis.
Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to
Business case development and analysis for Strategic accounts
Management of the development and evaluation process
Recommend Commercially viable pricing solutions and pricing strategies for customer proposals
Present commercial recommendation to management
Preparation of bid proposals, management committee and/or CRB papers
Establish, implement and monitor pricing strategies in support of Strategic accounts annual and long-term business plan objectives
Provide key inputs for the establishment of pricing models for Fixed portfolio products to determine the appropriate product pricing
Bid co-ordination
Validate inputs for inclusion into business cases (Capex, Opex, COS)
Weekly reports on Fixed opportunities and Bid register update
Involvement in strategic, business process improvement/operational efficiency projects when required
To meet this challenge and be effective in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
CA/CPA, or equivalent work experience
Telco/ICT experience preferred but not essential
Strong stakeholder management
Ability to clearly articulate commercial opportunities and negotiate desired business outcomes
Strong experience in business case development and financial modelling and evaluation
Experience in a commercial role - profitability analysis, business case development and financial modelling (applicants from marketing backgrounds with strong financial acumen will also be considered)
Strong analytical ability and investigative skills; proven attention to detail
Strong negotiation and presentation skills coupled with strong active listening and interpretative skills
Ability to develop effective relationships and contacts throughout the organisation
Demonstrated time management skills and a clear ability to independently manage multiple projects
