The Role:
Our Utilities department makes and distributes essential services to the mine and processing plant including power, water, sulphuric acid and hydrogen sulphide , They are seeking an experienced hands-on Process Engineer who is up for a challenge to join their team. Key accountabilities are to:
Monitoring your assigned areas, highlight deviations and implement corrective actions
Initiate, plan and implement process studies and prepare technical reports on project studies and plant trials
Review and contribute to continuous improvement of process design, equipment selection and control philosophy
Provide process information to other departments
Advocate safe practice across the plant
In this role you have the opportunity to impact efficiency and outcomes. You will work autonomously but be part of a specialised team.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you not only have a strong technical background but also a dynamic personality with strong communication/relationship building skills as well as a desire to take on responsibility. The following qualifications and competencies are essential:
Tertiary qualifications in Chemical/Process Engineering
Experience in continuous chemical process industry
Strong report writing skills
Demonstrated effective problem solving ability
Proven track record of building internal relationships

This permanent position is available on an 8/6 roster, FIFO from Perth.
