An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Open Cut Examiner to join the production team at our Sonoma open cut coal project in Central Queensland.
The OCE is responsible for managing shift activities in accordance with the Company"s safety, quality and environmental policies and procedures. They will be responsible for statutory checks of the pit, assisting with accident and incident investigations and risk assessments to ensure that corrective action is taken where deficiencies or non-conformances are identified.
To be successful in this position you will be hold the following:
Queensland OCE Statutory Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years experience in an open cut mining environment
Candidates must hold a current QLD Coal Board Medical, Generic Coal Surface Induction, S1/2/3 and G2
Safety focussed with strong communication skills
Demonstrated leadership skills
