Our Murrin Murrin operation is a world class hydro metallurgical project with a multi-pit mine operation. What Is This Opportunity?
Due to an internal promotion, our Mining team is seeking a Superintendent to lead the Mine Technical Services area. You will be responsible for the provision of leadership and support to a multi-discipline technical team encompassing Engineering, Drill & Blast, Survey, GIS and Clearing & Rehab.
Key deliverables for the Superintendent - Mine Technical Services are (not limited to):
Short to medium term planning
Scheduling and budgeting
Management of efficient blasting and surveying activities on site
Accountable for team performance
Mentorship to Senior team members
Actively drive positive safety attitude and behaviour
Effectively facilitate communication between all stakeholders

Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering (or other suitable technical qualification)
Unrestricted Quarry Managers Certification
Demonstrated effective leadership experience
Demonstrated commercial decision making ability
Proven track record of career achievements
Naturally your communication, conflict resolution and leadership skills will need to be exceptional in order to support your technical skills and achievements. It is essential that you can demonstrate conceptualising, planning and implementation of continuous improvement throughout your career. We are looking for a leader with sound knowledge and understanding of all relevant legislations affecting the employment and safety of persons in the mining industry in WA.

This position will be on a 4/3 (Tuesday - Friday) roster. We fly to site with Cobham by jet, making the flight a short comfortable trip. Once on-site you will experience a friendly "village" feel at our comfortable camp site. All our rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, Foxtel and en suites. The village is fully equipped with a refurbished gym, tennis courts, swimming pool, cricket pitch, beach volley ball area, shop and tavern with regular social and sporting activities. We offer a generous remuneration package including base, site allowance, medical allowance, monthly bonus incentive, study support, salary continuance insurance and 12% super.
