Mobile Plant Operators - Casual
Perfect for experienced operators who do not wish to work full time anymore and are looking for somewhere to keep doing what they love without the permanent commitment.
As any mine site does, we get people coming and going which sometimes leaves our crews short-handed. To fix these temporary gaps we want to hire a pool of casual operators who can work when and as required - those who have all the years of experience on the gear but just don"t need to or want to work full time anymore - more like a week here, three months off, a 3 week stint here, 1 month off, a trip up North here and then a few weeks work there to top up the bank balance again���
Ideally we"re seeking those who have experience on some of the following equipment or similar within a mining production environment:
Dump Trucks - 785"s
Dozers - D10"s
Graders
You will be working direct for us, the Mining Company - Minara - not a contractor or agency. We will pay you a fair daily rate for every day you work and there will be no commitment except to turn up when you say you will. If you"re on holiday, have something else on or can"t make it, that"s fine - you will be part of a pool of people we will call on as needed to fill gaps. All we want is that every now and then you are available to use your experience and skills to help us fill the gaps on our crews and meet our production targets.
So if you"re one of those lucky ones who doesn"t need to work anymore but you"ve got all those year"s experience and are still itching to jump on a bit of gear every now and then - you should apply.
