Holy Cross Primary is a one and a half stream K-6 co-educational Catholic school situated in Woollahra and built on the beliefs and traditions of the Sisters of Mercy. It is seeking a highly qualified Catholic educator who is committed, energetic, technologically aware and has the capacity to work in a team.
Position criteria:
Essential:
1. A sound knowledge and a commitment to the Church"s mission in Catholic Education and a personal faith commitment;
2. Currency in curriculum K-6;
3. Knowledge and ability in catering for the different learning styles and needs of children;
4. Highly effective classroom practice and management skills in the understanding and appreciation of fair processes;
5. A willingness to work as a member of a team in a child centred environment based on Early Learning principles;
6. Highly effective interpersonal skills and organisational skills with a proven capacity to meet deadlines;
7. A commitment to ongoing Professional Learning;
8. The ability to creatively use ICT to provide a rich learning environment;
Desirable:
9. Demonstrated musical abilities.
