St Martha"s is a Catholic systemic primary school within the Archdiocese of Sydney. The school aims to offer a wholistic education for boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 6. Our mission is to provide all children with the educational opportunities to achieve their full potential within a community that is founded on the teaching of the Gospels and that celebrates Catholic faith and traditions.
Temporary Full-Time Position for Term One and Two, 2012.
There may be the possibility of extension for Term Three and Four.
The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to the mission of the Catholic School. RE teaching qualification according to the SACS Board and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional learning community are essential. Experience would be an asset.
The successful applicant will:
have a sound knowledge of and commitment to the Church"s mission in Catholic Education
have effective interpersonal skills and be prepared to work collaboratively as a team member
demonstrate effective classroom practice and management, utilising a variety of innovative teaching/strategies
have a commitment to professional development as a member of a learning team
use creative and innovative ICT to provide a rich learning environment
