Position Description
With a particular emphasis placed on the Blacktown Central Business District and specifically Colo Lane Car Park, Main Street, K-Mart and Max Webber Library, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of regulatory functions enabled by the relevant governing legislation, including (but not limited to); assessing, inspecting, evaluating and issuing penalty notices enforcing Council policies and statutory responsibilities, preparing statements of evidence, liaising with Council"s solicitors and representing Council where court action is required for breaches of legislation.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
Relevant local government experience in a similar capacity.
Current Class C driver"s licence.
Desirable:
Certificate III in Local Government (Regulatory Services).
Provision of a wide range of skills applicable to the profession.
Salary and Conditions
A salary range of $ 829.20 to $928.70 (Grade 5) per week depending on qualifications and experience.
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council"s Enterprise Agreement 2009.
