Reporting to the distribution manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Managing the site maintenance programs, providing operational improvement support and providing ad hoc project management support to the Distribution manager.
Developing close relationships with site teams to implement strategies on auditing, induction, training and development for all staff
Continuously improving implementation of Safety Health & Environment (SH&E) systems.
Background in manufacturing / logistics preferable but not mandatory as well as working knowledge of safety policies and safe work procedures will see you hit the ground running. The successful candidate will also possess excellent interpersonal and written skills. Whilst your experience and knowledge are important, your ability to demonstrate initiative, take on responsibility and work effectively in a small team will see you succeed in this exciting position.
