We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join our Osborne team in a role focussing on the procurement of the equipment and material for ASC facilities.
This challenging fast paced role will encompass purchasing assigned material and equipment in order to meet customer timelines. This will involve supplier sourcing, tendering, establishing and maintaining contracts, purchase order processing, maintaining MRP systems, and monitoring supplier performance in a civil contracting type environment.
It is essential that candidates possess demonstrable procurement experience preferably in an engineering, manufacturing or construction based organisation(s). Purchasing experience in a project or civil construction environment would be highly regarded. Candidates must have exceptional analytical and communication skills and a high ability to pick up new information and run with a project that is part way through.
Applicants must also be eligible for Australian Department of Defence security clearance.
