ASC wants to hear from people with experience in purchasing, procurement or contract administration. We have opportunities in both our fabrication and major equipment subcontract teams.
Forming part of the Supply Chain team, these positions are responsible for the establishment and maintenance of a portfolio of contracts including the preparation of quotes and tenders and the placement of purchase orders. Negotiating, liaising and developing relationships with both local and international suppliers on behalf of ASC will be key to ensuring the timely delivery of equipment and material for manufacture.
To be successful in this role you must have experience in any of the following:
Procurement or Contract management experience
Commercial experience in an engineering, construction, defence or manufacturing organisation
Trade or engineering qualifications in a manufacturing discipline coupled with Supply Chain exposure
As a person you must have superior communications skills, be a skilled negotiator and be able to demonstrate commitment drive and enthusiasm. Tertiary qualifications in Procurement or Supply Chain would be highly regarded.
