A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Project Manager to join our Program Management Department. You will be part of an enthusiastic team of professionals in an environment where you can be challenged and rewarded. This appealing prospect will enable the candidate to apply their expertise and knowledge to the smooth operation of managing projects as an individual and team member.
You will be responsible for the successful delivery of assigned projects within agreed budget, schedule and quality requirements and accountable for the management and maintenance of project cost baselines, schedule baselines, financial baselines and time phased budgets. You will also be dependable for ongoing improvement, review and development of programs and strategies as well as other duties as directed.
This role requires an enthusiastic and organised individual who has the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, work autonomously and use initiative to produce quality results.
The successful applicant must be eligible for membership of the Australian Institute of Project Management and reflect proven practice in a similar role, preferably in the defence industry, however, heavy engineering and mining industries will also be considered. You will demonstrate the ability to influence, encourage and lead the team to successful and fulfilling outcomes.
