The ET&A Tools Support Analyst will be supporting the project, development and testing communities across Enterprise Services by assisting in the maintenance and support of the Test Management Tools.
The responsibilities include:
Provide day to day support to the Test Tools i.e. Quality Centre, FinSim, Test Environment user"s across the Bank
Perform regular environment health check and ensure that, all environments i.e. Production, Staging, Testing and Development are online
Prepare deployment and configuration scripts for development, test and production environments
Follow release and change processes in the compilation and distribution of software builds and releases to development, test and production environments
Co-ordinate with Vendors for any other Production& Non-Production issues. i.e. infrastructure, application performance, server performance, software issues, etc.
Troubleshooting of environment and deployment issues
Co-ordinate with Vendors for any other Production& Non-Production issues. i.e. infrastructure, application performance, server performance, software issues, etc
Install and configure vendor software and provide require access for all parties for development, testing and production.
Review program / software and prepare and execute component, product and assembly testing to ensure that it operates in accordance with specifications
Engage with system users to provide system support
Prepare and update documentation including system manuals, deployment and configuration instructions, test scripts and user guides
Manage development and testing environments and schedules to ensure that these environments are appropriately configured for scheduled development teams
Deliver test environments to testing teams and manage the agreed test environment schedule
Work within a team environment to complete associated tasks
Available for weekend release
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
Tertiary qualification or certification in relevant programming language
Experience in software development is desirable
Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
Good understanding of the Software Testing Cycle
VBS - 12 months (optional)
PL/SQL skills - 12 months (optional)
JSP/HTML - 12 months (optional)
Quality Centre - 12 months (optional)
QTP - 12 months (optional)
SQL/Oracle/TOAD - 12 months (optional)
Resource Management Tool ie (PPMC) (optional)
