We are seeking an enthusiastic HR Practitioner to fulfil the role of HR Advisor at our Cadia Valley Operations site, 30kms from Orange. Reporting to the site Senior HR Business Partner, this varied role will provide site-based advice and services across a broad range of HR activities including: engagement, performance management, employment relations, organisational design, change management, leadership and development and rewards and recognition.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Partnering with the Cadia Valley Operations to contribute and support the delivery of the strategies and initiatives as well as the delivery of the CVO People and Performance plans;
Providing expert advice and practical support to line management with respect to all employee relations matters;
Partnering with the Cadia Valley Operations to drive a high performance culture;
Ensuring effective workforce planning;
Partner with the Hiring Managers to ensure the effective onboarding/induction of new starters;
Site coordination of the Graduate and Vacation Programs;
Monitoring the quality of the attraction and selection advice and service, ensuring clients" needs are being met and issues escalated in an appropriate manner;
Ensuring effective HR Information Management by accurate and timely completion of reporting requirements; and
Ensuring all statutory compliance obligations are met, including; Workplace Relations Act, Equal Opportunity Act / Anti Discrimination Act and Privacy legislation
With qualifications and at least five years experience in HR, you will possess a strong focus on teamwork and internal customers, effective communication and interpersonal skills, high performance standards, and a detailed / meticulous approach. Prior experience in mining or heavy industry will be highly regarded.
