You will be joining the Australasian operations of a US multinational that has developed a market leading position in a global niche market. It is a solutions provider, specialising in the development and supply of product, technology and services solutions to the Power, Oil and Gas, Mining and Chemical sectors.
Working closely with the Managing Director, you will draw on your strategic insight, commercial acumen and technical skills to become a highly valued member of the Executive Group. Managing a small team you will have numerous challenges: balancing the demands and support of the local operations with those of the US Parent; providing strategic and financial diligence to a growing presence in Asia and a competitive local market; developing reporting capability and systems.
You will have experience working in a US subsidiary environment with industry exposure to manufacturing or project based industries. You will require a hands on approach with responsibility for all financial, planning, budgeting, forecasting, asset management, cash flow, internal control and management reporting activities. You will be a driven professional (CA/CPA) who can adapt to the diverse challenges of a dynamic business.
Further, you will be able to demonstrate a decisive style and proven record of balancing strategic/commercial insight with robust and timely reporting.
