Position Objective:– Undertake information technology support tasks in accordance with the requirements of the Certificate III Information Technology (General) or the Certificate IV Information Technology (Client Support) Traineeship.
Essential Requirements:– The Commissioner has determined that the person nominated for this position is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:
Conviction check for: Crimes of violence, Sex related offences, Serious drug offences

The Department of Education invites persons interested in IT Trainee vacancies to register their interest on an applicant register. IT Trainee vacancies within the Department of Education are filled from those applicants listed on the register only. All IT Trainee appointments are made following merit based selection processes.To obtain active status on the register applicants must undergo an accreditation process conducted by IMB staff.
