Since its creation in 1987, the Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority (PAHSMA) has been responsible for preserving and maintaining one of Australia"s most important heritage sites and major tourism destinations.PAHSMA"s Vision Statement "To conserve, manage and promote the Port Arthur Historic Site as a cultural tourism place of international significance".PAHSMA is seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates for fixed term roles in the following four employment groups:Tourism Operations - Bookings & Ticketing Officer - Food & Beverage Assistant - Retail Assistant - Courtesy Vehicle DriverTour Guiding - Day Guide - Historic Ghost Tour GuideConservation & Infrastructure - Cleaner - General Labourer - Works Assistant - Multi-skilled LabourerAdministration - Administrative AssistantIntending applicants should obtain the appropriate Application Kit(s) for the position(s) which they may be interested in. These kits will contain the Application Form, Position Description and information and instruction on how to apply. Intending applicants should follow these instructions carefully.The Fixed Term and Casual Employment Register will be used to fill short term vacancies which occur during the period 1 August 2007 until 30 July 2008.
