We currently have an opportunity for a Forecasting Planner to work in our Abbotsford offices, who will plan for our Southern region. The Abbotsford office benefits from free parking.
This key position will be responsible for producing a single forecast of demand volume with 24 month forward visibility by managing and leading a demand planning cycle.
You will be responsible for facilitating demand, generating forecasts and coordinating inputs from key business units in Sales and Marketing. You will develop a strong knowledge of product volume performance, seasonal variations, new product development and marketing promotions so as to provide insights and advice for the preparation and generation of collaborative and single consensuses forecasts. Furthermore, you will manage a robust, transparent and nationally consistent demand planning process which adheres to the monthly demand planning cycles, whilst maintaining a continuous focus on process, accuracy and efficiency improvements.
Your calm under pressure demeanour along with your resilience and outgoing personality and superior influencing skills will provide you with the basis to succeed in this role. You will be degree qualified ( ideally with some accreditations in Mathematics or Statistics). If you have a proactive approach to problems solving and strong planning and analytical abilities and can easily adjust to changing schedules, we would love to see your application.
