Due to our continued growth and success, we have a requirement for two Undersea Warfare Engineers to join our Air Warfare Destroyer Project in Adelaide.

Reporting directly to the Sonar Project Lead, the Undersea Warfare Engineers will have the opportunity to work within the Sonar Systems Team, working with multinational companies and cutting edge technology; an exciting career move for anyone wanting to define their engineering career in Defence.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare and maintain engineering artefacts associated with the Sonar system
Support the design, procurement, integration, installation, acceptance and delivery of the Sonar system
Support the Sonar Project Lead in achieving cost and schedule as well as contractual requirements
Develop technical procurement specifications necessary for Sonar procurements
Review, analyse and manage subcontract design and management plan of deliverables
Identified, resolve and report any technical issues associated with the Sonar system to the customer
Ideal candidates will hold a tertiary degree in electronic or mechanical engineering and a minimum of five years experience working within a defence and/or systems engineering environment. Experience in specifying, evaluating and integrating complex off-the-shelf Sonar systems is desirable.
It is a requirement that you are an Australian Citizen and have the ability to obtain and retain a defence security clearance at the Secret level.
