New OHS Candidates at Mining Employment Services - For Mining Jobs AustraliaParamedic looking for contract or permanent work from December 2009 - Administer required first aid treatment and medical emergency coverage for clients (on call 24 hours, 7 days a week), Follow up on medical and first aid treatments while ensuring patient/client confidentiality, Consult with on-call Doctors when required - RFDS (via satellite phone), Regularly inspect, maintain and restock all emergency, first aid, clinic and ambulance equipment, Maintain S8 Schedule Drugs Register, Order medications when required, Prepare and present educational discussions with clients, Correctly dispose of out of date Medications in accordance with the Poisons Permit Protocols, Document and maintain client medical records, Check and account for all S8 - S4 medications at the beginning of each swing and handover at the end, Participate in emergency response exercises.
