Our leading industry trade magazine is looking for an experienced news journalist to run its online property. Haymarket Media, a fast-growing and independent publishing company, with a fun and vibrant working environment, seeks an enthusiastic and energetic individual looking for a career in an editorial role with plenty of room for growth and personal development. This is a fantastic opportunity for a news journalist with a few years experience to work on a daily business-to-business site for the IT industry. The position requires a keen journalist with a passion for technology. Key responsibilities include writing and subbing daily news articles, securing news exclusives from industry contacts, alongside sending out newsletters. Confident in conducting interviews, the successful candidate will be able to communicate with a diverse range of people. There are a number of press launches to attend as well as key industry events throughout the year including occasional opportunities to travel. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
