Due to our continued growth and success, we have a requirement for Gradute Project Manager to join the Undersea Warfare team on the Air Warfare Destroyer Program in Adelaide.
With our partners we are committed to the timely and efficient delivery of an affordable, effective and sustainable Air Warfare Destroyer capability for the security of Australia.
The Program is using an alliance-based contracting strategy for the design and build phase of the Program. The AWD Alliance includes personnel from the Defence Materiel Organisation, ASC AWD Shipbuilder Pty Ltd and Raytheon Australia Pty Ltd, and is supported by the Platform System Designer and a range of Australian and overseas subcontractors.
Reporting directly to the Undersea Warfare (USW) Project Manager, the Graduate Project Manager will be the initial point of contact for all program operational issues and responsibility for coordination with all USW Project Leads and collating data to satisfy the monitoring and reporting activities to the Combat Systems (CS) Project Management Office.
Other responsibilities include:

Establishing and managing the process and format for delivery of routine CS reporting for all USW teams and ensuring compliance with the CS process
Providing and Alliance and customer focused environment which drives towards the goals of the USW team
Understand and support the preparation, monitoring and reporting of budgets
Support the USW teams in meeting or improving the schedule
Ideal candidates will hold a tertiary degree or diploma in a Project Manager or similar and have experience within an administrative and/or project management environment. You will have a high level of written, numerical and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with staff and customers at all levels and high level of experience and proficiency in MS Office (in particular PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Access). In addition you will be well organised and have exceptional time management skills.
It is a requirement that you are an Australian Citizen and have the ability to obtain and retain a defence security clearance at the Secret level.
