POSITION OVERVIEW

Due to our recent growth and continued success, Raytheon Australia now has a requirement for a Project Analyst to join our team.
BASIC FUNCTION
This role is responsible for the establishment, monitoring and reporting of programs and providing finance support to the Project Director and Program Managers in Sydney.
Responsibilities (not exhaustive):
Establish and maintain close working relationships with the Program Director, program managers and project team.
Assist with the development of business financial plans and forecasts.
Assist with the preparation of business financial reports and management of overhead expenditure and cash flow within approved budget guidelines for Sydney.
Ensure accuracy and completeness in recording project expenditure and that subsidiary ledgers reconcile to control accounts.
Ensure the timely and accurate billings for all projects and the subsequent collection of cash.
Monitor key performance indicators at program and site level that drive financial performance and provide insight to action and drive improved results.
Financial oversight and pricing of new business opportunities within guidelines issued by the CFO and the Proposals & Pricing Manager.
Compliance with Raytheon critical policies relating to project reporting, revenue recognition, EVMS & IPDS.
Responsible for all financial aspects of programs executed in Amberley
Loading of COBRA actuals on a monthly basis for all Aerospace System contracts.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
Degree in Business/Accounting
Minimum of five year experience since degree
Desirable:
CPA/CA
Construction/Engineering/Defence Industry background in job costing/project control environment
