Ref. 6578 Commonwealth Loans Scheme Manager - Applications are sought to fill the vacant position of the Commonwealth Loans Scheme Manager.  This position reports to the Assistant Registrar – Coursework Studies Section with responsibility for coordinating and administering domestic undergraduate and postgraduate student fee support programs and related enrolment issues.  This position manages the administrative processes and provides expert advice on all HECS-HELP, FEE-HELP and domestic tuition fee matters and on the related enrolment status, which informs decisions, ensures legislative and audit compliance, and maintains both internal and external stakeholder relationships. Essential Selection Criteria: • Solid knowledge and demonstrated ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation in order to administer Commonwealth Supported and Assisted Place schemes and policy• Highly developed interpersonal skills liaising with students on sensitive matters; and with internal and external stakeholders• Ability to interpret financial information as it relates to student fees• Demonstrated initiative and problem solving skills• Highly developed written skills• Excellent organisational skills in order to prioritise and meet deadlines• Ability to work as part of a team, whilst independently accomplishing role responsibilities• Proven ability to handle complex matters• Demonstrated ability to utilise computerised systems and their applications• Tertiary qualifications and/or wide experience in tertiary administration Selection criteria must be addressed in the application.
