POSITION OVERVIEW

Due to our recent growth and continued success, Raytheon Australia now has a requirement for an ADATS Technician to join our team in our Murarrie or Willamtown office.
BASIC FUNCTION
This position will be responsible for a wide variety of activities. Responsibility will cover specialist technical field maintenance support to Radar or Data Processing and Display systems, Engineering and Logistic Support activities.
Responsibilities (not exhaustive):
Including but not limited to;

Provision of specialist on and off site maintenance services to ADATS Radar or DP&D systems.
Ensuring program and individual compliance with maintenance requirements IAW the contract.
Design Drafting and Review of Non Significant and Significant Design Changes.
Actioning Engineering Change Proposals, Technical Information Reviews, Defect Investigations, Technical Substitutions, Deviations, STI’s.
Ensuring program and individual compliance with ADF AEO / AMO requirements IAW the contract.
Support to ADATS Logistic, Maintenance, Procurement and Contract requirement activities.
FRACAS reporting and maintenance.
Repairable Item Management.
Warehouse Management and Operations.
Telephone Support (24hr Roster).
Risk Management.
Project management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Essential:

Appropriate formal qualifications in a technical or engineering discipline and its application in the aerospace environment.
Knowledge of the Technical Airworthiness Management Manual (TAMM) - AAP 7001.053 (AM1) or similar air agency regulatory document sufficient to allow interaction with Defence agencies and MSN organisations (pertaining to AMOs (eg. ADF DGTA, FAA, CASA etc.).
Experience in maintenance of Air Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) and/or aircraft systems from program management through to workshop perspectives.
Well-developed written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to working as an individual, when required, and as a member of a team.
Ability to work autonomously or with minimal supervision and deliver completed work on schedule, and
Understanding and commitment to the principles of workplace diversity and equity, and OH&S
Desirable:

Electrical License
Australian Communications Authority License
Demonstrated experience in a technical airworthiness environment.
Knowledge of RAAF engineering and/or maintenance systems and procedures, relating to ATMS.
Use of Microsoft products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Project, Access and Publisher.
Knowledge of or previous Ground Telecommunications System Engineering requirements
Commitment to self-improvement with the focus on qualifications/skills update and contemporary industry practices.
