This international professional services organisation with a large presence in Australia is dedicated to the development and progress of all staff. With a strong reputation as an employer of choice the company prides itself on helping staff achieve their professional goals.
They are now looking to bring on a senior accountant to work within the finance function to work closely with the Finance Manager as well as liaising with many areas of the business.
Your responsibilities will include:-
-Preparation of financial and statutory reports
-Taking ownership of the general ledger and determining accruals and account reconciliations.
-Assisting with the preparation of quarterly and financial reports
-Completing taxation and other statutory returns
-Fixed asset accounting and control
-Providing financial analysis support to various divisions as well as other ad hoc tasks.
You will be CA/CPA qualified with 5 years experience in a similar role with professional services industry exposure being highly regarded. You will display a thorough knowledge of accounting and systems requirements with good Excel skills.
This role will suit a motivated self starter with excellent communication skills with the ability to focus on accuracy and timely management of the periodic accounting cycles. Excellent problem solving ability and a solid grasp presenting financial information is an important part of this high profile opportunity.
