Raytheon is currently seeking to employ a suitably experienced Procurement Officer at the Joint Defence Facility, Pine Gap.
As the Procurement Officer you will liaise directly with all internal and external customers to ensure all requirements for the purchase and sale of goods and services are undertaken in the most efficient manner.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Seek out suitable suppliers for goods and services required by Raytheon
2. Respond to procurement priorities, providing timely, solution orientated advice to stakeholders when required
3. Perform procurement activities in accordance with Raytheon and US Government policies and procedures
4. Assist with reporting
5. Liase with Logistic Specialists to ensure smooth service delivery
6. Maintain accurate records of procurement decisions
7. Conduct Request For Quote (RFQ) activities with vendors to assist in the competitive acquisition of goods
8. Actively monitor and manage the administration and closure of purchase orders and contracts as prescribed
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
Australian Citizenship
Cert IV in Government Procurement and Contracts OR equivalent experience
High level of communication and interpersonal skills
Microsoft Office Suite proficient
Current NT Drivers Licence
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT
It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security and medical clearances applicable to each role. Employees may be required to obtain a security clearance up to and including a Top Secret (TSPV) Department of Defence Security Clearance.
